Caeven's First Trip to the Beach

Someone should tell Chris to take off his t-shirt...oh wait he's just got a horrible farmer's tan (Chris had me write this I SWEAR! I luv me a good farmer tan!)

Caeven didn't like the ocean at first because it was slightly chilli for him but he got used to it and loved floating on the swells...as for his dad...he sure could use some sun on that pasty white chest and back-avert your eyes if you value your retina's!!!

It's too bad we don't live closer these boys would have so much fun together...but on the other had they'd probably get into a lot of mischief too!

Garden of the Gods

This is like a 5-10 climb pretty difficult as you can see from Chris' superior form it was executed most beautifully!!

Hangin Out

Caeven's First Bites

Caeven had his 4 mo visit mid June and the Dr. cleared him to start eating Rice cereal and then move on to regular baby foods about a week after, here's his reaction.

Future Job?...Hope not, but it's funny!

Caeven was sitting up for the short duration that he does and we snapped a shot of a little plumber crack!

Rollin' Over

Caeven was starting to figure out how to roll over but his arm would keep him from going all the way over so we helped get him on his tummy for some of these which were taken back in early June now he's a rollin' King and we have to really watch where we leave him...PLUS he's also started to get his crawling legs on here in FL but still has a bit to get straightened out before he perfects the manuever.

Caeven's 1st Hike

It was short lived (meaning about a total of 45 min to 1hr) Brittney, Caeven, and I went on a hike with our great friends Tim and Kamee at Blogget Peak (not sure of spelling) and we had a great time! What a pose, eh!

The FIRE!

This was so much fun! Kevin and Nicole hadn't yet put in the landscaping at thier house so while we were all out there we wanted smores so we dug a pit out on the side of the house and built a bon fire and hung out for awhile and ate smores. The funny part is that this was after about 30 minutes of burning and the starting flames were about 5-6 ft high and most of the neighbors (especially the neighbors that are on their backside right behind me when I took this shot) were peering out their windows with great worry but us Riggs boys had it all under control, GOOD TIMES!

Picnic at the Park

We had a Family picnic at 1st Dam park there in Logan, it was so pretty and a whole lot of fun!

Surprise Visit to Utah

This was after dinner at Iggy's we went to Kev's cheese factory Schrieber Foods, pretty dang cool to learn how much goes into making the yummy cheese we eat!

My middle brother Kevin had his 30th B-Day this past June (1st)...yeah I know it's quite a bit late. The video of the surprise at Iggy's is still in the works to be transferred to computer format...I've encountered some technical difficulties that should be hopefully resolved this week.

Aunt Katherine and Jake Bud

Caeven got to meet his Aunt Kat before she went back to Florida the last week of May as she was out here in CO for her sister's wedding. It was a lot of fun to see her and the growing tummy. And of course Jake Buddy was here too!

I can pinch and inch!

We were playing one of our favorite card games Hand and Foot and of course Caeven could only sit in his chair so long before he made it known he'd like to be involved in the game and participate...and he discovered hi loose skin as he pinched and held on for a bit, it was too funny!
