Potty Time

Caeven has just started hiding when he has to go potty. So today I saw him go to my room and shut the door I asked in if he was going potty he said "no . . . yes" So i asked the question that he always answers no but I thought I would give it a try. I said "do you want to sit on the potty" he runs into the bathroom and tries to take his diaper off. I was amazed, he sat on the potty for about 5 min. I told him if he went pee or poop he would get a prize he pushed and pushed an when he stood up the was pee in the potty. He was so proud off what he did it was great so who knows maybe this is the start to something good.

Time out

The other day Caeven was drawling on the coffee table I asked him to stop and counted to three but i guess he would rather spend time in time out then listen. So when I went to get him from time out I said " What do you say Caeven" He gives me a big hug and says "sorry for farting" I started laughing and then realized that he had pooped. I love that he is talking so much.

Caeven and his best friend Gabbie are so cute together. They love each other.

Happy Birthday ( a little late)

This is Caevens "toptop" cake my mom found this cake idea, I thought it would be hard to put together but it was not bad at all and Caeven loved it.

I think Caeven got more for his birthday then he did for Christmas. He also had a lot of help opening the presents.

Caeven likes to go under and between peoples legs and this time it didn't matter that Poppa was laying down...which leads to believe he wanted to go in Poppa's bum...too funny!

Avalanche Game (Avs vs Oilers)

Brittney and I went to watch the Avs beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 the 1st weekend in Feb. It was Awesome...except the little black box taped to the glass that is in most of the pictures. We were 12 rows up from the ice in the lower bowl and it cosst $80 for the 2 of us including a free meal. The last Avs game I went to was I think in '97 or '98 with Eric Halverson. It also was really cool the entered Mike Ricci into the Avs Alumni group and when I used to play for the Air Force youth center league we went up to an Avs practice and Mike Ricci had given me his stick because I was also #9. We are going again on Mar 6th to watch them again to play the St. Louis blues.

Caeven decided he wanted to help Nana make breakfast the other morning, this kid is too cute!

Walking with Dinosaurs

Randy and I took Caeven to see "Walking with Dinosaurs" back in January and it was really, really neat! Caeven loved it! He did get a little scared and pulled a "TJay"(covering his ears, which actually most little ones did) when the dinosaurs would roar. Definitely a neat experience for all ages!

Caeven got to ride a horse with my cousin Matt he loved it., even though it was freezing outside.

Christmas with Nana and Papa

So i only have a few pictures of Christmas because Chris was using the video camera and not the still camera so we have a lot of videos but no pics. The top one is the tool bench that my parents got him and the bottom picture is the quilt my Grandma made for his new big boy room. Caeven loved Christmas well the opening of the presents part anyway and he still tells me he wants to open them.
I will try to get more picture of Christmas from other cameras.

Christmas Party

We had a Christmas party with some friends it was a fun night. and Caeven found his new favorite person Uncle " Pimmy" Timmy. Caeven just loves him, when he is in trouble he tells me " I want pimmy mommy" it is so cute.

Halloween

I went to Old Navy on Friday because all the Halloween stuff was on sale for $2. This was one of two customs left, when I went to pay the lady told me it was only 50 cents because the pants had a little hole in them. So this is what caeven went trick or treating in.

We had a Halloween party Friday night Chris and Caeven went as Dr. Evil and Minni me I was just a chick from the 60's. I think it is so cute how Caeven was doing the finger thing that Chris was doing.

So for our ward Halloween Party Caeven was Handy Manny because Chris was going to get there late and Minnie me needs Dr. Evil.

Thermometer

Ceaven was really sick a few weeks ago with a really high temp. The only thermometer that we have is one that goes in the bum. Caeven hates this which i don't blame him. Anyway I was at my parents house and Caeven found a thermometer he takes it to my dad and says " BUTT NO WAY NO WAY! " We about fell over laughing. We do have a new thermometer now that goes on his forehead.

Caeven was so slap happy on the way home, all the sugar must have been starting to wear off, because he was all giggles for about 10 minutes straight!

I would have posted another video of earlier in the day as we were headed up Old Stage rd but Brittney recorded it on her mom's camera so it will have to wait but it was crazy, the boy fell asleep on the way up the rough wash board filled road despite his little noggin' bouncing all over the place...well not too much, Nana was back there to hold it in place with a make shift blanket neckbrace.

The Sunday Drive home

We (I especially) had a lot of fun being out and getting to play in the bronco!

This is actually trail 370I that is really just a knarly shortcut (by no means faster) off the main road. It was full of moguls and as we were nearing the end of the road I had to stop and get some flexed shots of the bronco...for my brothers, I totally miss the days when we all lived close and could go camping and wheelin' in Kev's Scout, Ken's Jeep, and Carson's Comanche. Another reason why this hunt is going to be soo much fun playin' with the boyz!

Billy 2 is performing great, just wish there was more time and gas money to get out and see the 100's of other beautiful and fun places here in Colorado!

Sunday Drive

We decided to go on a Sunday drive to see the leaves changing colors up Old Stage rd and up part way on trail 379 where we stopped to have hotdogs and smores...except we forgot the hotdogs so we had chips and smores, YUMMY!!!!!






Getting warmed up...sort of, this was quite a nice fire pit that was already set up when we got there. The trail, I think, is supposed to summit Almagre Mtn? at around 12k + feet.





Caeven had no trouble diggin' in to the chips, this boy loves to eat and can pretty much get away with eating whatever with a face like that! He is too darn cute!

This was alos Caeven's first experience around a camp fire and he loved it...wasn't that warm of a fire because we made it pretty small since we weren't going to need it for hot dogs.

Red Lobster & Napkins

After we had taken our quick drive on Thursday we headed over to meet Mom, Carson & Lana at Red Lobster for dinner (another reason aside from the rain that the drive ended quickley) and while we waited nearly an hour for our food after we were seated Caeven was quite the entertainer and decided he'd try out a few different looks with his napkin.
