Aunt Katherine and Jake Bud

Caeven got to meet his Aunt Kat before she went back to Florida the last week of May as she was out here in CO for her sister's wedding. It was a lot of fun to see her and the growing tummy. And of course Jake Buddy was here too!

I can pinch and inch!

We were playing one of our favorite card games Hand and Foot and of course Caeven could only sit in his chair so long before he made it known he'd like to be involved in the game and participate...and he discovered hi loose skin as he pinched and held on for a bit, it was too funny!

I guess this would be an unofficial family picture that we took that came out pretty darn good for a snap shot!

Aftermath

Before 30 mins of Sawzallin'

I had a great idea as we were heading down to Alamosa over memorial day weekend...stop talkin' and just cut the roof of the Bronco, so I did, it's something I had talked about for years and after I started cutting there was no going back. It's sweet now but still a lot of finishing work to do!

Right to Left now is Soren, Caeven, Eliana, and Dominique...there's a little progression in moods of the kids as well.

Hangin' out with friends!

Brittney got together with some of her old room mates from college and their kids. Left to right, Eliana, Caeven, and Dominique . Caeven and Eliana are a week apart and in this pic Dominique was 1 month old. Once they were all together on the snuggle sac they started to hold hands, cute huh...it'll never work as you can see she's already like a head taller, her parents Jon and Janelle are both over 6 ft. tall, and as Britt and I are somewhere in the 5 ft range Caeven doesn't have a much hope to be too tall...unless he gets genes from Brittney's parents side of the fam (let's cross our fingers)

Look what I found!

On my day off several weeks ago I went to get Caeven up and found that he finally found his thumb, what a Cutie!

Attention Getter

Caeven loves to watch the TV when he's laying around or sitting with you. I'm sure it's the colors and movement that he likes so much...rest assured this will not become a regular thing for him especially when he's older!

A few surprised looks!

I think we caught him off guard a couple of times. It's almost as if he's saying, "I see dead people."

Chewing and Gagging

As the pictures below indicate he loves to chew on things the same day we got it on tape and I may have had something to do with the gag reflex look he gets in the video...but it was too cute!

Teething? Maybe not so much.

Caeven loves to gnaw, chew, and slobber on anything he can get in his lil'mouth...mostly fingers is all he had success with when these were taken as his hand-eye to mouth skills weren't as good as they are now. Looks as though my fingers may have been a little salty :)

One Sunday afternoon after dinner we were hanging out at mom's house and both the kids were awake and happy so we took advantage of the situation. They'll have lots of fun growing up together!

Most of the days after I have lunch with Brittney and Caeven she heads to her friend Stephanie's house to work out, hang out, and play...so do the kids.

Brittney's mom and dad come up as often as they can to hang out and spend time with Caeven, he's the only Grandkid for now so they just eat up any minute they can get.

Most of these pictures are between april and may, these one though are definitely from april when Caeven was between a month and a half to two and a half months old. He keeps gettin' cuter! Oh and this last outfit his Aunt Kelli bought for him...the hat fits much better now Brittney was just really excited to put it all on him.
