$100 Treasure...not so much

'88 Bronco II

If ya'll can remember back on labor day Chris chopped the top on his Bronco II and has been working on it little by little and recently discovered he was going to need to replace the body all together because his was too beat up from the roll over 2 1/2 years ago...coincidently on Labor day weekend on Mt Blanca. He had been searching craigslist day after day and his brother Kevin was also scouring Logan, UT for donor vehicles and he finally found one in Golden, CO for $100...but no engine or transmission. I've been reassured though that those aren't needed because Chris is just going to swap the bodies...which is going to be a lot of work but should be satisfying once he's done. The interior is actually pretty nice but the exterior is going to need a little tlc on some rusty spots but it's pretty straight. Chris was really excited also because the guy also gave him a wench mount bumper that's pretty nice.

Just Cause

Caeven is getting such a personality and is sooo active. Once he's on the ground he's gone or crawling circles in the living room or all over ya!

Colorful Colorado

Sorry the picture's not bigger but this is one of the many reasons we love it here in Colorado...the beautiful fall colors. So this is for ya'll down south who miss out on this great weather! BTW this is the south east side of Mt. Blanca headed towards La Veta pass

Happy

Caeven is like this 99% of the time...just happy and full of smiles. We went down to Alamosa over conference weekend and he had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa.

Handsome Boy's Big Blue Eyes

Caeven definitely can thank his mom for his big blue eyes...and kind of his dad, Chris has hazel eyes.

An afternoon at the park

He'll actually hang like this now on his own for about 5-10 seconds
We set out a couple of weeks ago on a walk to find a nearby park and we were successful, we managed to find one not too far up the street rom our house. As you can see Caeven loved it!

Aunt Jody's wedding

Ok this was back in August...we're a little behind, this is my Aunt and her new husband Earl, he is a train conducter so they got married on the train that runs between Alamosa, CO and La Veta, CO at the top of La Veta pass. It was a really cool idea and a wedding we will never forget, the original plan was to have the wedding outside but rain changed those plans however, it did clear up for an outside reception. The unforgettable part came later because someone forgot to bring the radio to let the return engine know that we were done and ready to be picked up needless to say that was one late night we got back into Alamosa at 11 and Chris and I had to drive home that night so Chris could go to work the next day.
