This is our cute little niece Amanda Rachel Riggs, Carson and Lana's baby girl, Lana came to see us after Brittney's graduation and we (mostly I, which I need) got a little practice in feeding and burping Amanda. I think I'll be ready when Febraury rolls around and our son is born.

This is Mount Blanca in the San Luis Valley, definitely one of my favorite parts in this part of the state, not too far from Mom and Dad Timmins' house. It was a little ridiculous though how many times I pulled over to take pictures of this mountain...a State Patrolman puled up behind us to make sure everything was ok (I wasn't speeding I swear!)

This is our new cat...currently unnamed, he showed up at Britt's parents house so we'll be getting him this coming weekend.

Visiting with Dad

So my dad surprised us with a visit back in early October and we got to hang out for about a day and half, by the way Brittney has changed since this photo she was about 20 weeks here.

So some of our really good friends got married this summer in June, Tim & Kamee Godwin, it was a lot of fun, our other great friends Aaron & Jana Beier were able to make it also, good times!

The Run Down

So to begin I met my wife about 3 days after I returned from my 2 year mission to Brasil in Oct. of '04 and we became friends and went out casually as friends. As time passed we began to date more seriously in April of '06 and later were married in the Denver Temple January 13, 2007. Since then a lot has changed for us, we moved from our apartment in May to our first house (condo) and have worked real hard to make improvements and make it our own. I switched jobs from the banking industry to insurance in March and I love it! Brittney has been attending UCCS here in town and is preparing to graduate with her Bachelor's in Sociology on the 14th of December and is also 7 months pregnant with our first son.
